Our Story

From an early age, my grandfather understood the responsibility of providing for a family. He worked a full-time job while farming, raising six children alongside his wife, Mary, and doing the steady work that kept everything moving forward.
About 30 years ago, he and a family friend planned to put up a hoop building for farm and machinery use. As they worked through the project, they realized they could fabricate and install similar buildings for others as a way to earn extra income. At the time, the goal was simple — make enough money to pay off the combine they had just bought.
What began as a short-term plan grew into something far more lasting. That effort became the foundation of a generational Iowa business that still exists today.
In his later years, one of his favorite sayings was, “If you’re not having fun, you’re not doing it right.” It was his reminder that even in long days and hard work, there was pride to be found in doing something well.
The values he lived by — commitment to family, steady work, and doing right by people — continue to guide how this business operates today.

Carrying It Forward
Today, the business continues as a family-run operation serving customers across Iowa and the Midwest. While tools and materials have evolved, the core design and approach remain very similar to how things were done from the beginning.
A great deal of time and commitment went into getting the original hoop building design right. That design has stood the test of time, and we continue to build using the same proven principles that made those early projects successful.
We focus on fabricating and installing hoop buildings that are practical, dependable, and built for real-world use. From the first conversation to final installation, we work directly with our customers and take pride in being involved every step of the way.
What started as a short-term goal to pay off a combine has grown into a business built on relationships, repeat customers, and word-of-mouth referrals — and we’re grateful for the opportunity to keep that tradition going.
